Standing and chair-based exercises and yoga practices designed to relax and rejuvenate, improve mobility and balance, and build strength.
Note: The Saturday class is offered by Level One Fitness at The Epping Club. I am one of three teachers with differing styles currently teaching in blocks of 2-3 weeks.
A more traditional class that incorporate poses and movements (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation.
Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and yoga experience. If you're concerned about your level of fitness or your health conditions, please consult your general practitioner or medical specialist before starting.

A 20-25 minute relaxation and/or meditation session to help reduce stress, improve focus and self-awareness, and develop a sense of calmness.
Practices can be performed lying down or seated. Limited mats and blankets are available, so if you want to lay down please bring a yoga or fitness mat, towel or blanket for padding and warmth, and if needed, a cushion to support your head.
Because different practices suit different people, practices are changed every fortnight. View schedule of practices

A gentle class comprising stretches and movements to ease physical tensions and soothe the mind, followed by 25-30 minutes of yoga nidra (yogic sleep).
Yoga nidra is a practice that draws the mind inwards, initially helping to calm the mind, and over time, helping to develop focus and build emotional resilience.
Note: Due to limited space, bookings are required. Please contact LaiLin Yoga to verify that space is available.

Note: You don't have to be a member of the gym or the club to attend these classes.
Level One Fitness offers:
- Yoga classes, which comprise mainly physical poses and movements (asana) followed by a 5-10 minute relaxation.
- Seniors classes, which comprise gentle exercises that are performed seated in a chair or standing. The classes are designed to improve mobility, strength and balance.
Both classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and yoga/exercise experience. If you are concerned about particular health conditions or your fitness, please consult your general practitioner or medical specialist before starting.

These weekly classes incorporate poses (asana) followed by at least 20 minutes focusing on breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation or meditation practices. Different relaxation and meditation practices are explored during the term.
No previous experience of yoga or meditation is required.
