Restorative Yoga: The Art of Doing Nothing

Embrace the art of resting

It’s very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing. Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying; it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems.
— Thich Nhat Hanh

Are you ready to embrace the opportunities that come with Spring?

Rest is an activity that aims to soothe and calm our nervous system. If we are well-rested, we can feel refreshed and more focused. Yet in our fast-paced world, you might find yourself feeling stressed, anxious and overwhelmed.

What is Restorative Yoga?

Restorative Yoga is a slow, gentle practice of long-held postures that provides an opportunity to “just be”, letting the body rest and heal, and the mind to settle.

In a Restorative Yoga session, you’ll practise in a room with minimal distractions. Your body will be cushioned and supported with tools like blankets, cushions, blocks, bolsters to encourage stillness and promote deep rest.
